Theatre - Music - Visual Art
I am Brazilian, and I started doing theater when I was a child. I am a writer, actress, singer, director and specialist in the performing arts. I work as a researcher in Latin American theater, the theatrical anthropology of the Italian master Eugenio Barba, director of one of the most prestigious theater companies in the world - Odin Teatret; biomechanics and the ViewPoints technique. I have worked in many countries in Latin America, Denmark, the United States and Mexico. I have a degree in Theater and Journalism, and in Latu Sensu Performing Arts and Theater from the Estácio de Sá University, Rio de Janeiro, BrazilAs a multifaceted artist, my goal is to help students develop their creative skills, giving them the tools to learn how to construct their own stories, from writing to scene composition. Art has the ability to transform lives and bring more sensitivity and happiness to the collective, positively impacting the environment in which we live.My work in theater has always been connected with pedagogy in the training of students, actors, dancers, whether as a teacher or theater director. I worked as a translator for Warner Channel, Discovery Channel, and Turner Broadcasting, and I translated several plays and books into Portuguese and Spanish. I write, produce, and host the podcast Arte em Movimento.
